Workplace Language Training
Practical and directly applicable
Speaking and listening in work situations
Training materials are carefully developed based on real workplace situations. This
may include understanding instructions, communicating with colleagues, interacting
with customers, or participating in meetings. In this way, the training directly supports
what employees need in their day-to-day work. Lessons are practical, interactive, and focused on speaking and listening skills. At the same time, we work on building confidence and independence, so participants can use the language more effectively on their own.
There is also attention for employee skills such as communication, collaboration, and
taking initiative — contributing not only to language development, but also to long-
term employability.
From language lessons to the workplace
A new employee should preferably understand quickly what a work instruction means. With beginner language learners, it can sometimes be difficult to make clear exactly what you expect from them. That is why, if desired, we can expand the lessons with language cards tailored to the daily activities within the company. Together, we determine which actions will be included on the cards and which language is spoken in the workplace: Dutch or English.
During the lesson, the employee learns exactly the actions they perform in the workplace. One card for each action. You receive the same cards as a magnetic set for the workplace. They are placed near the location where the action is performed. The employee recognises the images from the lesson, understands what needs to be done and can follow the instruction more quickly and independently.
